Job summary

Intugo Mexico seeks an Accountant / Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day accounting operations, maintain ledgers, and improve financial processes. The role focuses on accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and cost tracking within a construction-related partner environment.

The ideal candidate will work independently, ensure confidentiality, and support monthly closing, 1099 reporting, and internal controls. English proficiency is required for cross-border collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related position.
• Proven experience with AP/AR, invoicing, payment processing, and follow-ups.
• Knowledge of job costing or cost accounting, preferably in construction or project-based operations.
• Experience using QuickBooks or CONTPAQi.
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Manage AP and AR including invoicing and payments.
• Perform daily bookkeeping: coding transactions, bank and card reconciliations.
• Review expense categories, cost codes, and services for reporting accuracy.
• Monitor construction project budgets and track costs.
• Assist with monthly P&L reporting and variances.
