Intugo Mexico seeks an Accountant / Bookkeeper to join its growing team in Hermosillo, Sonora. The role centers on maintaining accurate financial records, managing AP/AR, and daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks and CONTPAQi.

You will monitor project costs, support monthly P&L, assist with 1099 reporting, and look for ways to streamline processes in a construction setting. Independence, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Proven experience with AP/AR, billing, and general accounting.
• Knowledge of job costing or cost accounting in construction/project-based ops.
• Experience with QuickBooks or comparable software; adaptable to new systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable including invoicing and payments.
• Perform daily bookkeeping: coding, reconciliations, and card reconciliations.
• Review expense categories and cost codes to improve reporting.
• Monitor construction project budgets and purchase orders.
• Assist with monthly P&L reporting and variance investigations.
• Support annual 1099 reporting by reviewing vendor/payments.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
