Job summary

GE Aerospace in Querétaro seeks a Composite Manufacturing Engineer to lead PMC manufacturing initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and drive SQDC improvements across internal and external suppliers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Expertise in PMC manufacturing processes and resin systems (epoxy, BMI, polyimide).
• Experience with PMC inspection methodologies (CMM, CT, UT).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in design, quality, materials and manufacturing; manage action plan and prioritize efforts based on SQDC within the composites supply chain (including internal & external suppliers).
• Drive manufacturing improvements in PMC manufacturing equipment and process technology within the supply base.
• Monitor and communicate project status, issues and significant developments to key stakeholders in the Composites business.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices of polymer matrix composites manufacturing.
• Grow technical expertise in PMC manufacturing through training opportunities, online courses, certifications, and workshops.
• Proactively identifies delivery barriers and resolves with fulfilment, commercial, quality, and engineering team members.
• Acts as a Project Manager for large complex suppliers along with others.
• Actively drives cost reduction efforts within assigned supply base and is proactively engaged in addressing cost issues.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and a Lean mentality within the manufacturing organization.
