GE Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional for PMC manufacturing. The role involves planning and executing technical projects to improve SQDC metrics, owning supplier technical performance, and leading cross-functional efforts across composites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited College or University.
• Expertise in polymer matrix composites (PMC) manufacturing processes (hand layup, resin transfer molding, press cure, etc) and in resin systems (epoxy, BMI, polyimide).
• Experience with PMC component inspection methodologies (CMM, CT, UT)

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional teams including design, quality, materials and manufacturing; manage action plans and prioritize based on SQDC within the composites supply chain.
• Drive manufacturing improvements in PMC equipment and process technology; monitor and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Grow technical expertise in PMC manufacturing through training, certifications, and workshops; identify delivery barriers and work with fulfilment, commercial, quality, and engineering teams.
• Act as a Project Manager for large complex suppliers and drive cost reduction within the supply base.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and Lean thinking within the manufacturing organization.
