Morgan Advanced Materials in Querétaro, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Lead to head the Process Engineering team and drive improvements across production, quality, capacity, cost, and performance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other functions to eliminate bottlenecks, improve process stability, and ensure systems meet customer requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role focusing on sustainable problem-solving.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a team of engineers (7+ people).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with measurable improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean tools: SMED, VSM, TPM, 6S, JIT.
• ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 knowledge.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop the Process Engineering team.
• Set priorities, objectives, and work plans to support business goals.
• Evaluate manufacturing capacity and opportunities to support current production and future transfers.
• Balance and optimise equipment utilisation across work centres.
• Improve process consistency, capability, and equipment performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and flow.
• Validate equipment performance after maintenance activities.
• Lead projects focused on scrap reduction, cost savings, and productivity improvements.
• Design and implement process controls meeting quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, ergonomics, and operational excellence.
• Manage process changes and ensure Quality Management System compliance.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve KPI performance.
• Support new product introductions, APQP, PPAP, process validation, and standardisation.
