• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related field.

Join our team at CEVA Freight Management Mexico S.A. de C.V. as a Compensation and Benefits Professional Mexico, based in Mexico City, Boulevard Manuek Avila Camacho. This pivotal role within our Compensation and Benefits division offers a unique opportunity to influence and enhance our employee value proposition through expert management and strategic oversight of compensation and benefits programs.

As a Compensation and Benefits Professional, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of conducting comprehensive research, analysis, and evaluation of country-specific benefit plans, programs, and delivery systems. Your work will involve producing detailed reports, administrative summaries, and standard operating procedures that ensure regulatory compliance and align with local legal requirements.

You will play a key role in supporting our company-wide compensation strategy. This includes active participation in salary surveys, overseeing annual bonus audits, managing merit increase processes, and conducting local market research to ensure our offerings remain competitive and attractive, particularly catering to our blue-collar workforce.

By collaborating closely with benefits vendors, you will negotiate contracts and optimize costs, ensuring efficient benefits management that contributes positively to our financial health without compromising employee satisfaction. You will also be responsible for managing employee data synchronization with external benefits providers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with personnel data, eligibility criteria, and company policies.

In addition, you will assist in developing human resources projects, encompassing objectives, budgets, timelines, and staffing to ensure successful program delivery. You’ll support preparation of compensation and labor-related social charge quotations for new business opportunities in Contract Logistics, aligning with country-specific cost structures.

A significant part of your role involves delivering training and ongoing support to the HR Business Partner team, strengthening benefits-related service delivery and ensuring consistent application of policies and practices across the organisation. You will actively contribute to the development, implementation, and updating of benefits policies to meet evolving company and regulatory requirements.

Your expertise will extend to calculating accruals for annual incentive programs—including annual bonuses and profit sharing—supporting business units by managing distribution and addressing related inquiries. You will also oversee the accurate assignment and administration of company vehicles, allowances, and fuel subsidies, maintaining and updating the fleet database as per established policy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of country benefit plans and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and deliver complex reports and administrative summaries supporting compensation and benefits programmes.
• Support salary surveys, bonus audits, merit increase processes, and local market evaluations to maintain competitive reward systems.
• Negotiate with benefits vendors to optimise costs and value.
• Synchronise employee data accurately with external benefits providers to ensure eligibility and policy alignment.
• Provide training and support to HR Business Partners to ensure consistent benefits delivery.
• Contribute to the creation, review, and update of country-specific benefits policies.
• Calculate and manage accruals related to incentive programmes and support related financial inquiries.
• Manage company car assignments, allowances, fuel benefits, and maintain fleet databases per company policies.
• Assist in developing HR and project objectives including budget management and staffing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Compensation & Benefits, or related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Benefits and Insurance management is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Human Resources practices.
• Solid understanding and ability to interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing compensation and benefits.
• Preferred advanced expertise in compensation, benefits, payroll, and the capacity to analyse financial and accounting data effectively.
