CEVA Freight Management Mexico is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and optimise core transversal functions within the Contract Optimization department. You will guide operational processes, lead a cross-functional team, and drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, efficiency, and service quality.

You will collaborate with diverse departments, manage budgets and programs, and ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Logistics Operations Manager

As a Logistics Operations Manager within CEVA Freight Management Mexico S.A. de C.V., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our operational processes within the Core Transversal Functions division, specifically in the Contract Optimization department, this position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage logistics operations and drive continuous improvements aligned with our company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of operational processes ensuring adherence to Safe Work Methods and established procedures, thereby safeguarding a secure and productive working environment.
• Lead and manage personnel activities, including training coordination, performance evaluation, compensation recommendations, and performance management to cultivate a motivated and capable workforce.
• Continuously analyse and review operational results, feedback, and storage-related information to identify trends, derive actionable conclusions, and communicate findings and proposals to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Provide support in investigative initiatives related to operational conditions, offering well-considered recommendations to resolve safety or workflow challenges promptly and effectively.
• Support the development of project or program objectives related to operations and storage, encompassing budgeting, timelines, resource allocation, personnel management, and other project requirements while ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
• Interpret and apply departmental policies, procedures, and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure operational compliance, seeking guidance when necessary and maintaining strict adherence to legal and internal standards.
• Develop and implement root cause analysis action plans to address operational opportunities, driving continuous improvement and preventative measures across logistics functions.
• Efficiently manage assigned resources, ensuring that operational areas have the necessary personnel, tools, and equipment required for optimal process execution and overall operational success.
