Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in-house or at a top law firm.
• Qualified to practice in-house in New York (or equivalent).
• Experience negotiating technology, data and intellectual property transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations on complex technology and data transactions under NY law.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice after becoming familiar with MSCI’s businesses and priorities.
• Collaborate with commercial, product and other teams to protect MSCI while advancing client relationships.
• Develop and evolve contract templates, clauses and legal frameworks for new products and models.
• Drive contracting transformation and automation initiatives, including AI-enabled processes.
