Job summary

Carrier México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Coil Shop to support and optimize processes, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals are achieved.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, analyze issues with Lean and RCA, and collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams. Experience in high-volume manufacturing and knowledge of Six Sigma are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis tools.
• Nice to have: experience supporting automation or process engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to Coil Shop manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
• Leading continuous improvement projects focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Analyzing and resolving manufacturing issues using Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and quality tools.
• Implementing process improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support operational objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
