Job summary

Industrias SL, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a seasoned Process/Manufacturing Engineer to optimize electronics manufacturing using Lean and Six Sigma methods. You will reduce cycle times, improve yields, and support new product introductions with PFMEA and control plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in process/manufacturing engineering, and advanced English. Travel to supplier and development sites may be required; strong problem-solving and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and component fabrication.
• Experience with coating, encapsulation, and potting automation processes.
• Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing tools (SMED, one piece flow, kan-ban, 5S, etc.).
• Continuously improve quality and eliminate non-value added activities.
• Participate in improvements of manufacturing metrics and line balancing.
• Develop and implement ECR/ECN processes and PFMEA.
• Assist in new product introductions and prototypes.
• Generate reports and charts for manufacturing performance.
• Train colleagues, technicians, and operators as required.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
