PepsiCo LATAM is seeking an Accounting/GL professional to join the team in Mexico City. The role focuses on revaluation processes, journal entries, and maintaining LATAM closing calendars, ensuring accuracy across Mexico-LATAM accounts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 2+ years of GL experience, strong independence, and collaborative communication to support cross-functional teams and digital initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting/GL experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and ability to recognize activities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions.
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Execute Foreign Currency Revaluation for Mexico-LATAM.
• Integrate and monitor Mexico accounts.
• Post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Create and monitor closing calendars for LATAM.
• Maintain accounting documents for Mexico-LATAM.
• Maintain distribution and sub-delivery cycles for LATAM.
• Support SOX/GRC controls and audits.

The Opportunity

This position is part of the GL LATAM team who is responsible for providing services to Mexico, SOCO, ANDINOS and CARICAM. Its main activities are the execution of the revaluation process during the closure of several countries, processing manual records and maintaining control of provision accounts for Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting/GL expirience.
• Medium accounting knowledge/ability to understand and properly recognize accounting activities.
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and make decisions autonomously.
• Effectively communicates and provides insights to cross functional teams.
