PepsiCo Mexico is seeking a CNTRL & Rpt Analyst to support month-end close, prepare financial reports in HFM, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls across the region.

You will collaborate with OU and intercompany teams, deliver balance sheet reconciliations, and provide financial analysis to support decision making, using SAP/HFM and SmartView tools in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • 1–2 years experience in financial statement preparation and reporting.
  • Experience with US GAAP, internal controls and SOX compliance is desirable.
  • Proficient with SAP, HFM and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsabilidades

  • Execute month-end close processes (GL/JE) timely and in line with PepsiCo requirements.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Generate information for statutory and management financial reports.
  • Perform financial analyses to support business decision making.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Analyze, record and provide the documentation and accounting adjustments that ensure the financial closure of the company, as well as prepare, integrate and excute the financial report in HFM system in order to provide reliable information to shareholders based in coporative polices from Pepsico.

Your Impact

As Cntrl & Rpt Analyst your responsibilities would consist of …

  • Execute month close end process (GL-JE) and make sure all the related tasks are completed timely and complying with the Pepsico requirements.
  • Ensure the accounting process is compliant with all control requirements.
  • Generate information for filling out the required statutory and management financial reports.
  • Prepare & review the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze of balance sheet reviews to ensure no unexpected financial impacts.
  • Prepare monthly financial statement (Balance Sheet, P&L & financial attached reconciliations for review and approvals of Controller & Planning Team (before and after upload in HFM)
  • Execute financial report Pepsico (Smartview / FDM – HFM).
  • Support to the business unit in the form of various financial analyses in order to assist the business in its controlling and decision making processes.
  • Participate in the Periodic, Quarterly and Annual and Quarterly reports required by the organization.
  • Generate clear communication with OU, Intercompany counterparts and other users throughout the region and in the CSS.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • University Degree in Accounting - required
  • Experience in accounting US GAAP, control environment and sox compliance - desirable
  • Experience – 1 to 2 years in financial statement preparation and reporting in a large company, multi-unit environment - required
  • Office Intermediate - required
  • English Level 70% - desirable
  • Communication skills are needed as individual will be required to interact with employees of all levels - including upper management - not only in Mexico, but internationally as well. - required
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles processes (Bank Statement/AP/FA/AR/GL/Intercompanies/Financial Reporting), and business standards for integrated financial analysis.- desirable
  • Knowledge in the following ERP´s: SAP, HFM, FDM. – desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis). - required
