Souriau-Sunbank Connection Technologies in Tijuana, MX, is seeking a CNC Programmer to generate 3D and 2D geometries and create NC programs to meet blueprint requirements. The role emphasizes cycle time optimization, tool selection, and preparing manufacturing dossiers including setup cards, NC programs, and work instructions.

You will use Mastercam for NC programming, define tools and tool-holders, run first parts for buy-off, and contribute to continuous improvement in machining operations

Formación

• Engineering or technical degree required; 5+ years experience preferred.
• Experience using Mastercam for NC programming.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and symbols.

Responsabilidades

• Develop 3D and 2D geometries from blueprints.
• Develop NC programs for lathe and mills.
• Define cutting tools and geometries including tool holders.
• Use NC equipment effectively.
• Manage NC programs with DNC system.

Job Summary

The CNC Programmer will generate 3D and 2D geometries in order to create CN Program capable to produce parts according to blueprint requirement. Cycle time optimization to existing parts, cutting tools selection, speeds and feeds calculation, manufacturing dossier package generation including setup cards, NC program and work instructions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Development of 3D and 2D geometries according to blueprint.
• Development of NC Programs or lathe and mills.
• Definition of Cutting Tools and geometries (including modeling of tools holders, inserts, drills, etc.).
• NC Equipment utilization.
• Administration and control of NC Programs using DNC system.
• Comply with QMS and Trade Compliance for technical data; keep records of changes and revisions, traceability.
• Creation of manufacturing instructions / Dossier.
• Use of Mastercam for NC programming.
• Provide guidance and training to operations personnel.
• Run first parts following NC program for buy off.
• Cycle time definition for new parts.
• Cycle time optimization for existing parts.
• Continuous improvement on machining operations.
