Epiroc is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for on-site work in Matehuala, MX. You will repair CNC machinery, set up tooling, verify programs, and monitor quality using precision measuring instruments.

Ideal candidates read blueprints with GD&T, have basic G and M-code knowledge, and understand materials like steel and aluminum. This role emphasizes accuracy, maintenance, and proper documentation on the production floor.

Responsabilidades

• Repair CNC machinery as required.
• Set up and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC machines.
• Verify CNC programs load correctly and run as intended.
• Execute CNC programs per blueprints and specs.
• Monitor machining for quality and precision; log cycle times and outputs.
• Perform basic maintenance and report equipment issues.

WHAT WOULD YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

• CNC Machinery Repair
• Set up and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
• Verify that the CNC program is properly loaded and correct.
• Execute CNC programs to machine parts in accordance with technical blueprints.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision.
• Measurement and Quality Control
• Use instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and scales to verify dimensions.
• Detect deviations and adjust parameters as necessary.
• Basic Maintenance
• Perform routine cleaning and check fluid levels (oil, coolant, etc.).
• Report equipment failures or abnormal conditions.
• Maintain production logs, tracking cycle times, conforming parts, and rejected parts.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, surface finishes, and symbols.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION
