Eaton Corporation in Mexico is seeking a CNC Programmer to generate 3D and 2D geometries and create NC programs for lathes and mills, with a focus on cycle time optimization and tool selection.

You will use Mastercam, define tools, and produce manufacturing dossiers; you will train operators and run first parts for buy-off, aiming at continuous improvement in machining operations.

Formación

• Engineering Degree Preferred or Technical Degree.
• More than 5 years’ experience.
• Computer usage: Advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Development of 3D and 2D geometries according to blueprint.
• Development of NC Programs for lathe and mills.
• Definition of Cutting Tools and geometries (including modeling of tools holders, inserts, drills, etc.).
• NC Equipment utilization.
• Administration and control of NC Programs using DNC system.
• Comply with QMS and Trade Compliance for technical data; keep records of changes and revisions, traceability.
• Creation of manufacturing instructions / Dossier.
• Use of Mastercam for NC programming.
• Provide guidance and training to operations personnel.
• Run first parts following NC program for buy off.
• Cycle time definition for new parts.
• Cycle time optimization for existing parts.
• Continuous improvement on machining operations.

Cycle time optimization to existing parts, cutting tools selection, speeds and feeds calculation, manufacturing dossier package generation including setup cards, NC program and work instructions.

• Development of NC Programs or lathe and mills.
• Definition of Cutting Tools and geometries (including modeling of tools holders, inserts, drills, etc.).

• Experience in the use of Mastercam software – hands on.

• Knowledge and experience in the operation of NC equipment (lathes and mills).
