Souriau-Sunbank Connection Technologies is hiring a CNC Programmer in Tijuana to generate 3D/2D geometries, develop NC programs for lathes and mills, and define tooling per blueprints. The role includes tool geometry definition, NC execution, and creating detailed manufacturing dossiers and setup cards.

You will run first parts, optimize cycle times, and train shop personnel while ensuring QMS and trade compliance and continuous improvement in machining operations.

Formación

Engineering degree preferred or technical degree.
5+ years of experience.
Advanced computer usage.

Responsabilidades

Develop 3D/2D geometries per blueprint.
Create NC programs for lathes and mills.
Define cutting tools and tool geometries.
Utilize NC equipment and DNC system.
Produce manufacturing dossiers and setup cards.
Provide guidance and training to operations staff.
Run first parts for buy-off and establish cycle times.

Job Summary

The CNC Programmer will generate 3D and 2D geometries in order to create CN Program capable to produce parts according to blueprint requirement. Cycle time optimization to existing parts, cutting tools selection, speeds and feeds calculation, manufacturing dossier package generation including setup cards, NC program and work instructions.

Primary Responsibilities

Development of 3D and 2D geometries according to blueprint.
Development of NC Programs or lathe and mills.
Definition of Cutting Tools and geometries (including modeling of tools holders, inserts, drills, etc.).
NC Equipment utilization.
Administration and control of NC Programs using DNC system.
Comply with QMS and Trade Compliance for technical data; keep records of changes and revisions, traceability.
Creation of manufacturing instructions / Dossier.
Use of Mastercam for NC programming.
Provide guidance and training to operations personnel.
Run first parts following NC program for buy off.
Cycle time definition for new parts.
Cycle time optimization for existing parts.
Continuous improvement on machining operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the use of Mastercam software – hands on.

Blueprint reading and interpretation of simbology.
Basic geometry and arithmetic operations knowledge.
Knowledge and experience in the operation of NC equipment (lathes and mills).

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

Engineering Degree Preferred or Technical Degree.
More than 5 years’ experience.
Computer usage: Advanced.
