Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a Carrier Management Analyst to support the Freight Payment & Audit team in North America. You will improve carrier invoicing accuracy, resolve issues, and reconcile statements to ensure timely payments per carrier contracts.

The role involves coordinating weekly carrier meetings, driving issue resolution, and leading cross-functional projects to enhance freight payment activities. English fluency and Excel/ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of logistics analyst or planning experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of freight types: TL, LTL, Ocean, and parcel.
• Knowledge of DOT/ICC rules is a plus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct carrier meetings weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as needed.
• Drive carrier issue resolution and payment accuracy through standard processes.
• Resolve invoicing issues and discrepancies with carriers and clients.
• Pull statements and coordinate with freight audit provider to ensure on-time payments.
• Create ad hoc reporting for freight payment activities and KPI tracking.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve freight payment processes and SOPs.
