Grupo TECMA in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a professional for procurement activities including generating purchase orders and maintaining MRP system data. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in purchasing electronic commodities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Solid knowledge of MRP and ERP systems is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Generate and adjust purchase orders based on MRP requirements.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including Program Management and Production.
• Maintain MRP system purchasing data and report metrics.
• Monitor production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create and manage work orders through ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Utilize system to generate and adjust purchase orders in support of MRP requirements and effectively communicate areas of concern to appropriate departments, individuals, and suppliers.
• Interface within a cross functional team regularly meeting with Program Management, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
• Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
• Maintain MRP system purchasing data and its integrity.
• Support the preparation, analysis, and/or publishing of purchasing‑related metrics, reports and scorecards.
• Monitor and review production plan often to ensure we meet on‑time delivery requirements for our customers/product builds.
• Ensure SYSPRO parameters are maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety, and current inventory levels and making recommendations to management for adjustments to levels per need.
• Create and manage work orders through an ERP system; responsible for the proper configuration, planning and documentation of products and processes manufactured.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA)
• Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Comfortable multitasking and able to deliver results under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a very fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excel skills (V‑Lookup, Pivot Tables, IF Statements) & other Microsoft Office Program applications
• Requires a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 1‑3 years’ experience with purchasing electronic commodities in a manufacturing environment – a must
• Solid understanding of Materials Requirements Planning
• Knowledge of Syspro system or other similar ERP systems
