Job summary

Schneider Electric in Mexico City is seeking a BMS Software Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team. The role reports to the General Manager – GEC and focuses on delivering high-quality BMS software solutions while coordinating with global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings extensive BMS/engineering leadership, hands-on DDC/PLC programming knowledge, and experience managing remote teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10 years in BMS/engineering with global center experience.
• Experience leading remote/offshore teams across time zones.
• Knowledge of DDC/PLC programming and BMS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the engineering team (hardware, software, graphics).
• Ensure engineering delivery and high-quality output; position GEC as a preferred partner.
• Establish work processes; ensure on-time, defect-free deliverables with customer satisfaction.
• Interact with global customers and stakeholders; translate requirements into deliverables.
• Lead hiring and performance management; manage cost and utilization.
