Schneider Electric in Mexico City is seeking a BMS Hardware Design Engineer to develop complete hardwire design packages for building management and automation systems. You will coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and controls teams, ensuring high‑quality documentation and clear communication in a global project setting.

The role requires hands‑on BMS design experience, strong HVAC fundamentals, and disciplined design reviews.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline related to BMS hardware.
• 2+ years hands-on experience designing BMS/building automation hardware.
• Solid understanding of HVAC equipment and control panels.
• Ability to read and reconcile multiple design sources.
• Clear written and verbal English for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret drawings, specs, standards, and customer requirements for BMS hardware.
• Translate requirements into coordinated hardware designs with minimal supervision.
• Produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and submittals.
• Size field devices and select controllers to meet project needs.
• Develop control logic diagrams and relay wiring for install, commission, and service.
