Schneider Electric is seeking a BMS Software Engineer to design, configure, test, and validate Building Management System software for diverse facility automation projects. You will develop DDC/PLC applications, integrate protocols like BACnet/LonWorks/Modbus, and ensure robust performance across AHUs, chiller plants, and VAV systems.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams, drive FAT activities, and document software deliverables while adhering to project schedules and quality

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in BMS software engineering or a controls automation role.
• Experience with DDC programming and Building Management Systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (FBD, Script-based, or Ladder Logic).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, applications, and control strategies.
• Experience with BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC, or similar protocols.
• Ability to read sequences of operation and project diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for HVAC controls.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret project specs, sequences of operation, schematics, and customer requirements to develop BMS software solutions.
• Develop, configure, and maintain DDC/PLC applications using proprietary platforms and standard methodologies.
• Create control strategies, logic diagrams, alarms, trends, schedules, and supervisory applications.
• Configure BMS communication protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC).
• Engineer HVAC control solutions for AHUs, chiller systems, boilers, and VAV systems.
• Troubleshoot control loops and optimize system performance.
• Perform offline programming, simulation, FAT testing, and verification against requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, testing records, and project deliverables.
• Manage tasks, schedules, progress reporting, and risk communication.
• Support continuous improvement and reusable software libraries.
