Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Recruiter to partner with plant leadership in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico. The role focuses on interviewing new staff, maintaining recruitment metrics, and meeting hiring targets for indirect and salaried personnel.

You will also be the primary point of contact for recruitment-related communications across plant departments. You will implement recruitment projects, support GPS data entry for hires and promotions, and ensure legal compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, or related fields.
• 1 year of experience in similar or related positions minimum.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with new staff in the plant to interview and select candidates.
• Update recruitment and selection indicators for indirect and salaried personnel.
• Meet hiring targets to address human-capital and talent needs of each plant department.
• Serve as the plant-wide point of contact for recruitment and selection of indirect and salaried personnel.
• Implement new projects for continuous improvement of recruitment and selection.
• Foster a positive work environment within the department.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements for recruitment and selection.
• Enter new hires and/or promotions for indirect and salaried staff into the GPS system.
• Create personnel requisitions in the GPS system.
• Notify Shared Services of new hires and/or promotions for indirect and salaried personnel.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
