Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in drayage dispatching, trucking logistics, or container management.
• Bilingual in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
• Proven experience in a 3PL or Asset-based brokerage environment.
• Leadership ability to mentor and motivate a team.
• Proficient with TMS, YMS, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client meetings.
• Education: High School Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for assigned clients regarding container status and changes.
• Attend regular client meetings to review KPIs like on-time pickups/deliveries and detention.
• Proactively inform customers of delays and port congestion to protect the supply chain.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to grow the account.
• Supervise dispatching workflow, train staff, and ensure accurate dispatching.
• Schedule carriers to ports, rail ramps, and customer locations; monitor real-time driver locations.
• Monitor yard and terminal operations to ensure efficient turn times and minimize demurrage.
