Job summary

Jabil, a global provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions, seeks an HR Shared Services Generalist to be the first point of contact for employee inquiries via phone, email, and portal. You will resolve issues, input accurate HR transactions, and maintain confidentiality across the Americas region.

Responsibilities include applying HR policies, supporting benefits and compliance, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure accurate information and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in HR Specialist or similar role.
• Fundamental knowledge of HR practices including employment law, compensation, hiring, performance management, coaching, and employee relations across the Americas Region (US and Mexico).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain substantial knowledge concerning HR policies, programs, and procedures that support first call resolution.
• Handle incoming requests from various levels of employees to assess and resolve HR related issues empathetically and promptly.
• Collaborate with departments to stay updated on policies, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely HR transactions across systems such as Workday and ADP.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality of employee data and company information.
• Provide HR program/project support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
