Ford México is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for Battery Pack Assembly to design, validate, and launch high-volume pack lines. You will collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams to optimize equipment and processes.

The role requires travel to the USA ~70% and experience on major projects, with strong AutoCAD/PLM skills and PFMEA development. Interested candidates should be able to work across North America and support ROC launches.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and business acumen.
• Minimum 2+ years on major projects.
• Experience on manufacturing lines as Engineer or PM on new lines.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD / Siemens PLM and layout development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Design, run off, install, and launch high volume battery packs.
• Provide manufacturing input to product design.
• Support assembly station, transport, and test equipment design & procurement.
• Lead and manage ROC and issue resolutions from builds PDCA.
• Develop PFMEA and SCCAFs; follow MPS and PD instructions.
• Document standardized work instructions; collaborate across levels.
• Extensive travel within North America is required.
