Global Connect Technologies is seeking a mechanical engineering specialist to lead FEA-driven battery system design and thermal management. The role involves driving simulations, validating mechanical robustness, and guiding cross-functional teams, including offshore collaborators. Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical system design using FEA for crash, crush, shock and vibration.
• Experience with Li-Ion battery systems and thermal management.
• OEM Automotive/Tier 1 experience with systems/assemblies is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert thermal management system designs and guidance for battery cells and packs.
• Define and execute FEA simulations to validate battery designs for mechanical robustness.
• Oversee FEA analysis and validation testing for vibration durability, mechanical shock, crashworthiness, and structural engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and offshore colleagues.
• Assist in the assembly and test of battery systems or prototypes.
