Job summary

E-Solutions in Monterrey seeks a mechanical engineer to design and analyze battery system components using FEA, focusing on crash, vibration, and thermal performance. The role emphasizes collaboration with OEM/Tier1 partners and delivery of robust mechanical solutions for Li-Ion and lead-acid packs.

You will lead validations, guide cross-functional teams, and support prototype assembly and testing, including offshore coordination where required.

Qualifications

• Good working experience/exposure in Mechanical system design using FEA simulations related to crash, crush, mechanical shock and vibration analysis.
• Experience with Li-Ion battery systems focusing on thermal management and mechanical design.
• OEM Automotive/Tier 1 experience with systems/assemblies is highly desirable.
• Provide expert thermal management system designs and guidance for Lead acid, Li-Ion, Super Capacitor battery cells and battery packs.
• Define and execute FEA simulations to validate battery design concepts for mechanical robustness.
• Oversee or conduct FEA analysis, validation testing, and result interpretation for vibration durability, mechanical shock, crashworthiness, and structural engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and have offshore experience.
• Assist in assembly and test of battery systems or prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design using FEA simulations for crash, vibration, and shock analysis.
• Develop and refine thermal management strategies for battery packs.
• Guide offshore teams and coordinate with OEM/Tier1 partners.
• Oversee validation tests and interpret results for battery structures.
• Assist in assembly and testing of prototypes and battery systems.
