ON.energy is building the data platform to support AI-powered energy infrastructure. You’ll join a growing data team as the fourth engineer, scaling an AWS-based data lakehouse and working with high-volume time-series data from industrial sources.

The role requires 3+ years of AWS data engineering with Iceberg and PySpark, plus strong SQL and data modeling skills. English proficiency is required, and the team collaborates with global partners.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on Data Engineering on AWS with lakehouse exposure.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher; daily cross‑team collaboration.
• Experience with open table formats, preferably Iceberg; migration from Delta Lake or Hudi is supported.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced techniques and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing of high-frequency time-series data.
• Evolve the Data Lakehouse for storage, performance, cost, and data consistency.
• Orchestrate workflows with complex dependencies and robust error handling.
• Deliver production-ready datasets; collaborate with end users to meet data needs.
• Implement governance, security controls, and audit policies across AWS.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and data quality testing for reliability.
