Nestlé S.A. is seeking an Expert Data Engineer to build and optimize core data platform capabilities across Databricks, Azure, and Snowflake.

You will design reusable pipelines, automation, and platform patterns to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective data services for BI, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives. The role partners with business, analytics, data product, security, and IT stakeholders to strengthen the data foundation for enterprise data products.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of data engineering or data platform experience.
• Expertise in scalable distributed data systems across Databricks, Azure, Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and modern languages (Python/Scala/Java) with DevOps practices.
• Experience with batch, streaming, and near-real-time data processing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize core data platform capabilities for scalable ingestion, processing, storage, and access.
• Develop reusable pipelines, automation, and platform patterns to reduce risk and improve delivery.
• Architect high-throughput batch/streaming data processing using modern patterns and cloud services.
• Embed governance, security, quality, lineage, and compliance by design.
• Maintain CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, monitoring, and environment management.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and stakeholders to translate needs into scalable platform capabilities.
