Unosquare is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions at the intersection of technology, education, and global impact.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure Architecture teams to evolve a modern Big Data Platform, deliver reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics, and enable self‑service data for business stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience as a Software or Data Engineer.
• Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms and Python/SQL.
• Strong understanding of data processing, testing, and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop high-performance data applications for batch and streaming workloads.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions to process large volumes of data.
• Support data engineering initiatives including code integration, quality control, and training.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to evolve Big Data Platform strategies.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities, tools, and engineering standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to platform modernization.
• Design and implement reporting, dashboards, and self-service data solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to identify challenges and data-driven opportunities.
• Standardize reporting, metrics, data governance, and accessibility practices.
• Participate in Agile development, testing automation, and continuous delivery.
