Copeland is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support design, development, and integration of automated equipment across production lines in Chihuahua. You will lead hardware/software specs, program PLCs/HMIs, and collaborate with suppliers to implement efficient solutions.

Role requires hands-on robotics knowledge, experience with RFID and automated dispensing, and travel up to 100%. Fluency in English (70%) is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field related to electromechanical systems.
• Experience programming PLCs from multiple vendors (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron).
• Hands-on robot/cobot programming and maintenance experience.
• Experience with automatic dispensing systems and RFID pallet lines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation systems design including hardware and software (PLC, HMIs).
• Collaborate with vendors to develop equipment and systems for production.
• Provide technical guidance to automation teams and other groups.
• Design automated equipment to improve manufacturing processes with DFM/DFA.
• Manage budgets, schedule projects and ensure on-time delivery.
• Promote safety culture and mentor automation engineers.
• Support commissioning, testing and integration with maintenance and IT teams.
