Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
Experience in machine commissioning and manufacturing environments.
Experience coordinating software activities or technical work packages.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, debug, and maintain PLC and automation software according to project specifications and Bosch standards.
Participate in concept reviews, electrical design reviews, and definition of automation solutions.
Define I/O structures, communication interfaces, machine sequences, and software architectures.
Perform software validation, functional testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
Support machine acceptance, pre-acceptance, and customer buy-off activities.
Manage software version control, backups, and project documentation.
Support MES integrations, communication networks, and digital manufacturing solutions when applicable.
Track and resolve software-related issues and open points throughout the project lifecycle.
