Job summary

Copeland is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Ramos Arizpe, MX to develop world-class manufacturing solutions and drive operational excellence. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute projects and improve safety, quality, productivity and costs.

You will conceptualize improvements, lead assembly-related initiatives, coordinate equipment updates, read drawings, and document technical specs while supporting start-up phases and coordinating with Quality, Automation,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical or industrial field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Maintenance.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and interpret mechanical models.
• Spanish language; English helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop world-class process improvements to reduce costs.
• Provide innovative mechanical engineering solutions to support equipment design and manufacturing processes.
• Guide component design to align with best manufacturing practices.
• Support capacity expansion, new products and processes development.
• Assist in introducing new products and processes, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Define assembly and material handling processes for new products.
• Coordinate assembly activities for new launches according to BOM.
• Read and interpret 2D/3D drawings and models.
• Develop technical documentation for engineers and process technicians.
• Provide general engineering guidance and practical support as required.
• Collaborate with plant manufacturing, quality, automation, controls and product engineering teams.
