Flex Guadalajara North is seeking an Automation Engineer to specify, design, install, and maintain automation equipment and applications. The role covers lifecycle ownership from concept to production, including design reviews, supplier management, and on-site support.

The candidate should have a strong software background in industrial automation, experience with C#, Python, Visual Studio, .NET, REST APIs, and AI-driven processes, and be proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Strong software development background in industrial automation.
• Proven experience designing automation systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of automation projects from concept to production.
• Design and deploy automation into Flex sites for efficiency and safety.
• Develop, qualify, and support automation equipment and software.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure technical and cost targets are met.
