The role requires a strong background in PLC/HMI programming, lean manufacturing, and experience delivering multiple automation projects, with leadership across NPI, PFMEA, and PPAP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in manufacturing engineering and industrial automation.
• Must have independently owned and supported at least one production line as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• Must have delivered at least two automation/projects from concept to production implementation.
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation, PLC/HMI modification, commissioning, troubleshooting, validation, and ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned production lines and achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Develop, optimize, validate, and sustain assembly, test, inspection, and material-flow processes for electronic products.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process stabilization.
• Monitor yield, cycle time, throughput, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Create work instructions, standard work, control plans, and validation protocols.
• Lead or support NPI, production transfers, engineering changes, ramp-up, PFMEA, PPAP, risk assessments, and process validation.
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on safety, quality, ergonomics, and ROI.
• Lead automation projects from concept through handover.
• Develop URS, equipment specifications, RFQs, and PLC/HMI programs.
