Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Manufacturing & Automation Projects in Toluca.

The role requires planning, leading, and coordinating projects involving special‑purpose machines, automation systems, and assembly lines using internal and external resources to meet time, cost, quality, and technical scope objectives. The PM will serve as the main point of contact from order entry to installation and commissioning at the customer facility, including post‑service support.

Qualifications

• Degree in automation, mechatronics, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing and executing industrial projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building special-purpose machines, production lines, or manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of cost, resource, risk, schedule, and quality control.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to prepare presentations, progress reports, and executive summaries.
• Availability to support projects at customer facilities and provide post-commissioning support.
• Project management: proficient level; strong experience applying PM knowledge in new and changing contexts.
• Resource management.
