Job summary
Tetra Pak in Mexico City (Polanco) seeks an Automation and Digital Business Development Specialist to drive growth, identify opportunities, and support account managers. You will promote Automation and Digital Solutions across Processing, Packaging and Services, reporting to the Automation and Digital Business Development Manager Americas.
Travel up to 50% is required. The role emphasizes collaboration with local and global teams, solution selling, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; experience in industrial automation for food and beverage.
- 3–5 years in sales support, portfolio management and business development within Automation and Digital Solutions.
- Understanding of OT technologies and IT, virtualization, MES and industrial networks.
- Familiarity with Automation & Digital solutions (PLC & HMI / MES / MOM / ERP Integration/ IIoT).
- 3–5 years experience with digital solutions across the full lifecycle—from value selling to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution ofAutomation & Digital sales strategy for Mexico.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy for Automation & Digital Solutions.
- Drive business development by engaging prospects and understanding customer needs.
- Support the full sales process (understand needs, create solution, convey value).
- Contribute to opportunity qualification and commercial strategy for opportunities.
- Participate in sales meetings with Account Managers and stakeholders to generate leads.
- Collaborate with local and global teams to share best practices and drive growth.
- Cultivate relationships with sales, customers, decision-makers, and technical experts.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, sales activities, and pipeline.
