Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Projects Manager for Automation and Operational Efficiency to drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives in Puebla, Mexico. You will lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define scope, manage budgets, and deliver automation projects that boost productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or project management with a focus on automation and process improvement.
• Proven track record of implementing automation solutions and driving efficiency gains.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation technologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems and relevant automation software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency improvements.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of automation and efficiency projects.
• Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
• Implement and oversee the integration of automation technologies (robotics, software automation).
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to track impact of improvement initiatives.
• Ensure projects adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
