Associate Partner – Transformation, Restructuring & Operations Optimization (Monterrey)

We are seeking an experienced Associate Partner with strong expertise in business transformation, restructuring, and operations optimization to support and expand our presence in Monterrey. This role combines client-facing responsibilities with a strong focus on leading and delivering complex transformation and performance improvement engagements.

The Associate Partner will play a critical role in project execution, client impact, and relationship development, working closely with Partners to build the firm’s footprint in the region while ensuring high-quality delivery across transformation, restructuring, and operational optimization initiatives.

Role Overview

The Associate Partner will contribute to business development efforts in Monterrey and the Northeast region while taking primary responsibility for the execution and successful delivery of transformation, restructuring, and operations optimization projects. This is a balanced role, combining selective commercial responsibilities with hands‑on leadership of client engagements and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of transformation, restructuring, and operations optimization engagements, ensuring measurable impact and high client satisfaction.
• Client Engagement Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives during active projects, translating strategic objectives into actionable execution plans.
• Business Development Support: Support Partners in identifying and pursuing opportunities in transformation, restructuring, and operations optimization, contributing to proposal development and client discussions.
• Pipeline Contribution: Help develop and sustain a strong pipeline of performance improvement and turnaround projects, primarily through delivery excellence and client referrals.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Shape and implement practical, results-oriented solutions anchored in proven transformation, restructuring, and operational improvement methodologies.
• Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor consultants and managers, and ensure rigorous execution standards across engagements.
• Market & Client Insight: Develop a deep understanding of regional market dynamics and client challenges to inform both delivery and commercial efforts.
• Firm Contribution: Actively contribute to knowledge development, methodology refinement, and internal capability building, while collaborating closely with Partners on strategy and growth initiatives.

Your Profile

• Expertise: 5-10 years of hands‑on leadership in business transformation, restructuring, turnaround management, and operations optimization, with a strong track record in project execution and delivery.
• Regional Roots: Originally from Monterrey or with at least 10 years living and working in the region.
• Delivery Leadership: Proven ability to lead complex engagements, manage senior client stakeholders, and deliver tangible operational and financial results.
• Commercial Exposure: Experience contributing to business development efforts, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client relationship support.
• Industry Knowledge: Preferably familiar with key Monterrey sectors (manufacturing, automotive, industrials, logistics, consumer goods, etc.).
• Client Presence: Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility and trust through delivery excellence.
• Structured Thinking: Ability to translate strategic, operational, and financial challenges into executable transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable operating in a partnership environment, working closely with Partners while owning significant delivery responsibility.
