Job summary

ContiTech in Mexico is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead governance, harmonization, and analytics of compensation across the Americas. You will shape compensation strategy, ensure compliance with local laws and collective agreements, and partner with HR and leadership to drive market competitiveness.

You will analyze benchmarks, manage annual salary processes and incentive programs, prepare management reports, and promote standardization and digitization of compensation processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, HR management, or comparable qualification with minimum 5 years of experience in operative HR management.
• Knowledge of labor laws, collective agreements and employment practices desirable.
• Knowledge of HR information systems desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Analytical thinking and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with collective agreements, local law, and company policies related to compensation.
• Calculate and forecast elements of collective agreement in case of changes.
• Manage the annual compensation processes, including salary increases, bonuses, and other incentive programs.
• Conduct, analyze and interpret compensation benchmarks to ensure market competitiveness.
• Collaborate with HR business partners and management to address compensation-related issues and provide expert advice.
• Advising and facilitating the alignment of salary increase proposals.
• Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Promote the standardization, digitalization and harmonization of compensation processes.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and practices in compensation and challenge our compensation programs.
• Conduct job evaluations.
• Prepare communication and training materials for HR as well as for employees.
