Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an SSC Air Operational Team Leader to oversee the Air Operations team in the NORTAM Shared Service Center. You will drive end-to-end air import/export shipments, ensure KPI achievement, and mentor staff in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in air freight ops, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of air cargo docs, Incoterms, and IATA standards. Fluency in English and Cargo Wise experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, trade, logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Air Freight Operations within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Air Import/Export operations.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or supervising teams.
• Knowledge of air freight docs, customs rules, Incoterms, and IATA standards.
• Experience using Cargo Wise or similar freight forwarding systems.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Air Operations team in daily import/export air freight shipments.
• Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and service quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with airlines, agents, brokers, carriers, and customers.
• Manage escalations, urgent shipments, delays, and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and international regulations.
• Monitor workloads and priorities for team efficiency.
• Provide coaching and professional development to staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Promote accountability, collaboration and operational excellence.
