Placements24 is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client in Hermosillo, Sonora, on-site. You will optimize manufacturing workflows, apply lean principles, and drive cost efficiencies in aerospace production.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing process engineering, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and expertise in Six Sigma and process validation. You will collaborate cross-functionally and lead continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing process engineering, preferably aerospace or automotive.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Develop, implement, and validate new processes and technologies.
• Design and optimize production layouts for efficiency.
• Apply lean and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve issues.
• Oversee new equipment implementation and integration.
• Conduct capability studies and SPC analysis.
• Train staff on new processes and best practices.
• Ensure processes comply with safety and industry standards.
