Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Manufacturing Process Engineer for our client’s advanced facility in San Luis Potosí. You will analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive components, applying Lean and Six Sigma to cut waste and drive productivity while maintaining IATF 16949 compliance.

You will develop SOPs, lead cross-functional improvement projects, train staff, monitor KPIs, and select equipment or technologies to boost efficiency and quality in a fast-paced

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing process engineering.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive components.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM) to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency and quality.
