Job summary

Chromalloy in Mexicali, MX seeks a technical engineer to support aerospace turbine component development and production improvements. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement lean and CI tools, and drive process optimization for cost, performance, and durability enhancements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in aerospace engineering, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills in English. Travel may be required to support projects and field activities.

Qualifications

• Requires experience supporting development of technical solutions for product development/production.
• Proven ability to deliver projects and improve processes.
• Experience with design, manufacturing, or repair of aerospace components.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and CI/6 Sigma.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new and repaired turbine, compressor, and combustor components.
• Apply CI/lean methods to subsystems or manufacturing systems.
• Optimize production processes with measurable business impact.
• Develop KPIs to manage process and product outcomes.
• Lead projects/programs considering budget, resources, and schedule.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to meet cost, performance, and durability goals.
