MTS Globe Group in Cancún seeks an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our office-based team. This full-time role collaborates across departments to support vendor invoicing, payments, and records with a focus on accuracy and service.

Fluency in English and a proactive mindset are essential. The role offers hands-on experience in a growing international travel distribution company, with opportunities to learn accounting software and back-office processes while traveling occasionally to Europe

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; accounting/finance degree a plus.
• Experience in accounts payable is advantageous, but a strong desire to learn and grow is welcomed.
• English proficiency is essential; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and verification of invoices.
• Attend suppliers invoicing inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare cost balance reports.
• Handle invoicing complaints.
• Process payments and post accounting entries.
• Support AP procedures with the team.
• Participate in back-office training to learn tools.
• Contribute to process improvements within AP.
• Maintain organized AP records and respond to inquiries.
