Geely Auto Mexico is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance team. You will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensure timely invoice processing, and maintain vendor relationships.

This role requires SAP expertise, strong Excel, and CFDI 4.0 knowledge. You will support audits and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment in Veracruz.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in medium-to-large organizations.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment reconciliation, vendor management, and compliance with internal controls and local tax regulations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced working in high-volume environments using SAP.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Management

• Review, validate, process, and record vendor invoices and payments.
• Ensure invoices are properly approved according to company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SAP and related financial systems.

Reconciliations & Analysis

• Analyze outstanding balances and identify discrepancies, duplicate invoices, or potential issues.
• Prepare accounts payable reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure smooth payment processing.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts payable processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce processing times.
• Recommend process enhancements and system improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience working in medium-to-large organizations.
• Strong SAP experience, particularly within Accounts Payable modules.
• Hands-on experience with MIRO-FB60 transactions.
• Knowledge of CFDI 4.0 , accounting principles, and tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication and customer service orientation.
• Team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
