Coface in Mexico City is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support our accounting operations across Mexico City. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting while collaborating across international teams.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and a track record in reconciliations and month-end close; English proficiency is essential in our multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting is required.
• 3-4 years of general accounting experience in multinational or shared services.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards is preferred.
• Experience with reconciliations and closing processes is essential.
• Strong English communication and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Record and analyze amortizations, depreciations, and provisions.
• Prepare and file taxes per regional and corporate guidelines.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and balance alignment.
• Execute account revaluations and currency conversions.
• Analyze overdue portfolios and recognize provisions for doubtful accounts.
• Ensure internal controls and support audits.
• Collaborate with regional Audit and Finance teams.
