Job summary

BMW MEXICO is seeking an Accounting Trainee to support the integrity and efficiency of accounting and reporting by leveraging analytical tools, automation and financial controls. You will work with Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and IT teams to contribute to reporting, data validation and reconciliations.

The role emphasizes digitalization and process improvement, with a focus on month-end close support, Excel automation, and documentation to ensure consistency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with large financial datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables and automation.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing with analyses, reconciliations, and documentation for accounting.
• Improve automated Excel tools (macros, pivot tables) to ensure reliable financial data.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in financial data for high-quality reporting.
• Validate system interfaces and control files for accuracy in reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement by automating and standardizing processes with digital tools and Excel.
• Contribute to process docs, controls, and knowledge-transfer for consistency.
