Job summary

BMW Group Mexico is seeking an Accounting Trainee to support accounting and reporting operations, leveraging analytical tools, automation, and financial controls. You will work with Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable/Receivable and IT teams to drive digitalization and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset to work with large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel skills including macro programming, automation, data analysis and reporting development.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities with analyses and reconciliations.
• Analyze and improve automated Excel tools and reporting.
• Identify inconsistencies in financial databases and ensure high-quality reporting.
• Validate system interfaces and control files for internal/external reporting.
• Drive automation and standardization of accounting processes using digital tools.
