Job summary

BMW Group is seeking a Reporting & Controlling Trainee in Mexico City. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Risk, Treasury, Insurance, Operations and IT teams to deliver insightful analyses.

Ideal candidates have a finance-related degree and up to 2 years of experience, with advanced Excel skills and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in Finance/Controlling/Reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Budget, Forecast, Actuals and Long-Range Planning for OPEX and performance management.
• Analyze budget deviations and suggest corrective actions.
• Monitor budget governance: requisitions, invoices, expense allocations and utilization.
• Participate in month-end closing and reporting processes.
• Prepare management presentations and OPEX analyses for reviews.
• Assist treasury tasks: bank statements, payments, data validation.
• Contribute to process improvements and new analytical tools.
